Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders made a campaign stop in Chico on June 2, prior to the California primary election June 7. The senator hosted a rally on campus, speaking in front of Laxson Auditorium to an audience filling Kendall Lawn. Sanders was introduced by actress Susan Sarandon before delivering his stump speech to a crowd of nearly 6,000 supporters.
