New Concert Series Launches at Chico State

Chico State announced plans to hold free concerts for students, employees, and the surrounding community during the fall 2024-25 academic year. The inaugural concert is scheduled for Friday, September 13, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Kendall Lawn. Alongside live music by local reggae band Triple Tree, attendees can enjoy a variety of food truck offerings and games for the family with beer and wine served by Riley’s for those 21 and over.

These concerts are part of the University’s commitment to providing students with more on-campus activities and entertainment options during non-academic hours, with the goal of creating a vibrant and enjoyable environment for all with the convenience and safety of staying right on campus.

“We’ve heard from our students loud and clear about the desire for more on-campus activities outside of class time,” said Isaac Brundage, Vice President for Student Affairs. “At the same time, we want the Chico community to know they are always welcome at our events. So, we invite all students, faculty, staff, and community members to join us at Kendall Lawn for an evening of great music to kick off the weekend.”
