Inspired by His Parents, Vang Perseveres to Earn Master’s Degree

John Vang faced several challenges as he pursued a bachelor’s degree and then a master’s degree from Chico State. But when he questioned whether he was up for the task, he only had to look to his parents, Xae Chon and Mai Xiong, for the inspiration he needed to push forward.
