Celebrating the wonder of lifelong learning, faculty from across Chico State will present exceptional and entertaining lectures during EDXCHICO this week.

The fourth annual teach-in will take place on Friday, October 8, beginning at 9 a.m. Featuring faculty from all seven colleges and showcasing the joy of learning—and teaching—EDXCHICO is part of this year’s Alumni and Family Weekend and is free to watch virtually. The seven lectures will be livestreamed on Chico State’s livestream page and its Facebook page. The full event will be archived on the EDXCHICO site shortly afterwards.

EDXCHICO will spotlight the University’s exceptional faculty as they give short presentations on why they are so passionate about their areas of expertise. Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Debra Larson noted that the virtual format will amplify the lessons to an even larger audience than just the Chico State community.

“EDXCHICO is a wonderful opportunity for students and others to witness some exciting educational experiences our phenomenal Chico State faculty will share that demonstrate not only their love of teaching, but will stimulate a love of learning,” Larson said.
