Publications, Presentations, and Exhibits

Adrienne Scott (Department of Anthropology), Pam Kruger (Meriam Library Special Collections), and Irene Korber (Library Research, Instruction, and Outreach), co-authored a chapter in the publication Cultural Heritage and the Campus Community: Academic Libraries and Museums in Collaboration. The chapter, titled “Of primary importance: Connecting social studies teachers to library and museum resources,” was published by the Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL), a division of the American Library Association.

Awards, Honors, and Activities

The website Animation Career Review listed Chico State on several of its lists of “2023 Animation School Rankings.” The University ranked No. 37 on “Top 40 Public Animation Schools and Colleges in the US;” No. 21 on “Top 25 Animation Schools and Colleges on the West Coast;” No. 19 on “Top 20 Animation School Programs in California;” and No. 12 on “Top 25 Animation Bachelor’s of Science Degree Programs.”

The website Intelligent.com honored Chico State in multiple different rankings. The University was ranked No. 3 on the “Best Schools for Video Game Design” list; No. 5 on the “Online Colleges – Best for Degree Completion” list; No. 11 on the “Best Construction Management Degree Programs” list; and No. 32 on the “Best Online Nursing Degree Programs” list.

The website Online Master’s Degrees ranked Chico State in its list of “Best Online MBA Programs in California.” Chico State was listed No. 14.
