Worth Sharing: Cross Country Student-Athletes Honored for Work in the Classroom

Awards, Honors, and Activities

Eight Chico State student-athletes were honored by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for academic excellence. Rory Abberton, Brayden McLaughlin, and Joshua O’Neill from the men’s team, and Jaclyn Denham, Gracie Dupuis, Katie Hawley, Hannah Ryan, and Hannah Tiffany from the women’s team all earned All-Academic honors for their performances in the classroom.

Chico State was ranked in a pair of online education lists from US News & World Report. The University was recognized at No. 113 in the “Best Online Bachelor’s Programs” list and at No. 240 in “Best Online MBA Programs.”

Meanwhile, the educational information website OnlineU released its list of “2023 Best Online Colleges in California.” Chico State was ranked No. 5 on this list.
