Awards and Activities

Edward Berdan, a Political Science master’s student, has been named a 2021–22 American Political Science Association Diversity Fellowship Program Fellow. Focusing on American politics and public policy, Berdan explores Asian American and Pacific Islander political participation and voter preference.

Publications, Presentations, and Exhibits

David Brookes, Department of Physics, co-authored a pair of articles in the journal Physical Review Physics Education Research. In December 2020, Brookes published, “Implementing an epistemologically authentic approach to student-centered inquiry learning,” followed by “Social positioning in small group interactions in an investigative science learning environment physics class” this month.
