Publications, Presentations, and Exhibits

Bre Holbert, agricultural education graduate and current agricultural science and education graduate student, authored “The next generation of Black agriculturists: Inspired by history to achieve excellence” in AGDAILY. Additionally, plant and soil science and multicultural and gender studies double major Saul Reyes, AGDAILY’s Diversity Issues Intern, penned “Agricultural diversity should be about more than a public relations checkbox.”

Awards and Activities

After her performance in the Desert Stinger Tournament, starting pitcher Brooke Larsen was named the California Collegiate Athletic Association’s Softball Pitcher of the Week. The right-hander logged three complete-game victories, moved to 5-1 on the season, and was earned Tournament Most Valuable Player honors.
