Awards and Activities

During the CSU’s Moving the Needle Challenge, a five-day systemwide competition dedicated to fostering equitable and inclusive digital learning environments for all students, Chico State’s Accessibility Resource Center led the charge to our campus making 27,274 fixes—more than double the second-place campus—in our digital instructional materials. The challenge aimed to motivate CSU faculty and staff to improve the accessibility score of as many digital instructional materials as possible through Ally.

Grady Morgan had a big week on the diamond for the Chico State baseball team. After going 12-for-18 at the plate against Cal State LA, the sophomore was named the California Collegiate Athletic Association Player of the Week, followed by his being recognized as the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association West Region Player of the Week.
