Worth Sharing: Kim Collects Pair of Honors

Publications, Presentations and Exhibits

Eric Bartelink, Ashley Kendell, and Colleen Milligan, from the Department of Anthropology, along with Marin A. Pilloud from the University of Nevada, Reno, co-authored “Forensic Anthropology in a Changing Climate,” in “Anthropology News.” Bartelink and Milligan are co-directors of the Human Identification Lab, and Kendell is the coordinator for the Department of Anthropology’s certificate in forensic science.

Awards and Activities

Senior Justin Briggs was selected for the National Association of Basketball Coaches Division II All-West District second team. The 6-foot-10 Briggs started all 30 games this season, averaged 11.7 points and 7.6 rebounds per game, and is the school’s all-time leading shot blocker with 174.

College Rank recognized Chico State in its list of “25 Best Bachelor’s in Healthcare Management” programs in the nation. Chico State is ranked No. 15.

Christopher Colla, Myoung Kim, and Nicholas Caputo were named to the All-California Collegiate Athletic Association men’s golf team. Colla and Kim received First-Team honors—Kim is also the CCAA’s Newcomer of the Year—and Caputo earned Honorable Mention.

Kim was also named a 2019–2020 Golf Coaches Association of America PING All-West Region and honorable mention All-America selection.

Taylor Stewart was recognized on the All-CCAA women’s golf team. Stewart, a true freshman, earned Honorable Mention.
