Troy Jollimore (Department of Philosophy) penned a piece in The Washington Post titled, “Let’s face it, we all have the capacity to be mean. ‘Spite’ explores why that’s not necessarily a bad thing.”

Beau Grosscup (Faulty Emeritus from the Department of Political Science) co-authored the recently published biography “Tell Them What You Want.” The book focuses on the childhood experiences of Grosscup’s co-author Laverne Merritt-Gordon, an African American girl growing up amidst the immense local and national social turmoil of the 1950s to early 1970s.

A book of poems by Heather Altfeld (Department of Comparative Religion and Humanities) was published in April 2021. The collection, “Post-Mortem,” features poems that take the form of kaddishes, autopsies, and obituaries, a tribute to losses of many kinds, including languages, childhood, and elements of the natural world. It also earned the 2019 Orison Book Prize.

Matthew Stone (Department of Recreation, Hospitality, and Parks Management) was a featured expert appearing in an article on the website CreditDonkey, providing insight into how to save money while still traveling frequently.
