Publications, Presentations and Exhibits

William Nitzky, Department of Anthropology, debuted his documentary, “Bang the Drum.” The film was sponsored by the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences, the Advanced Laboratory for Visual Anthropology, and Chico State Enterprises.

Awards and Activities

Chico State University Advancement earned an International Bronze Award from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) for the story, “From Now On,” which appeared in the spring 2019 issue of the University’s alumni magazine, Chico Statements. The story was written by Ashley Gebb, the photography was provided by Jason Halley, and Christian Burke provided story layout.

Baseball catcher Tyler Stofiel was awarded Third-Team Academic All-America honors from the College Sports Information Directors of America.
