Awards and Activities

Women’s golfer Taylor Stewart’s second-place finish last weekend earned her the California Collegiate Athletic Association’s (CCAA) Women’s Golf Player of the Week honors. Over two days at the Western Washington Invitational, the junior posted the best single-round score, the lowest two-round total, and the highest tournament finish of her career.

Thanks to tough defensive efforts, led by right fullback Noah Ross, the Chico State men’s soccer team notched a pair of shutout wins at home last week. Ross also scored his first two goals of the season and was named the CCAA Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
