Joel Minden, Department of Psychology, penned a piece in Psychology Today titled, “Responding to Thoughts That Drive Difficult Emotions.”

Awards and Activities

Students from Chico State’s Seufferlein Sales Program captured first place at AT&T National Sales Competition—its captured its second consecutive national title. Led by students Lauren Santos, Katelyn Salisbury, Shelby Foster, Brooke Legins, and Kristine King, Chico State was coached by Ryan Brumfield.

Chico State was ranked No. 2 on Great Value Colleges’ list of “30 US colleges that are prepared for natural disasters.” The University was listed just behind top-ranked University of Oregon and ahead of No. 3 Butte Community College.
