Publications, Presentations and Exhibits

Megan Zollinger, Department of Music and Theatre, penned a post on the website Dance Plug titled “Surviving the Paradise Fire: The Power of Dance to Heal.”

Awards and Activities

Pablo Cornejo-Walker, Department of Civil Engineering, received the Water Research 2019 Best Paper Award from the Water Environment Federation. He was part of the award-winning team that worked on “Sustainability metrics for assessing water resource recovery facilities of the future.”

In its list, “25 Best Master’s in Speech Pathology Schools 2020,” Grad Reports ranked Chico State at No. 14. Additionally, Chico State reported having the fourth-lowest median total debt one year after graduation among schools listed.

US News & World Report listed a pair of academic programs on recent rankings. In the “Best Online Bachelor’s Programs” listing, Chico State tied for No. 106 out of 353 schools. And in the “Best Online Master’s in Nursing Programs,” list, Chico State placed 132 out of 183 schools.

Great Value Colleges ranked Chico State on its list of “100 Great Value Colleges for Philosophy Degrees (Bachelor’s) for 2020” at No. 28.
