Awards and Activities

Trad Berti was named the California Collegiate Athletic Association Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week. Berti placed third in a field of 282 runners at the Capital Cross Challenge at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex on Sept. 28.

Matthew Stone, Recreation, Hospitality, and Parks Management, earned his Certified Hospitality Educator (C.H.E.) designation from the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute. The C.H.E. is the leading certification in post-secondary hospitality management education.

Additionally, Stone began his two-year term as President of the Greater Western Chapter of the Travel and Tourism Research Association (GWTTRA). Stone has been a board member since 2015.
