Publications, Presentations and Exhibits

Ben Juliano, from Institutional Research, delivered a Fundamentals of Program Assessment workshop to 80 participants from around the world at the annual ABET Symposium in San Diego on April 11.

Gayle Kimball, professor emerita in the Department of Women’s Studies, authored the book “How Global Youth Values Will Change Our Future.” Read more here.

Gwen Ricordeau, Department of Political Science and Criminal Justice, co-edited an issue of a peer-review journal, “Cahiers du Genre.” Read more here.

Mary Jensen, professor emerita in the School of Education, authored the memoir, “Rudy’s Rules for Travel.” Read more here.

Greg Cootsona, Department of Comparative Religion and Humanities, authored the book, “Mere Science and the Christian Faith.” Read more here.

Awards and Activities

Cris Guenter, Department of Education, completed her four-year term as the National Art Education Association Vice President in March. She has been elected to a three-year term as a Trustee on the National Art Education Foundation, which invests in innovative initiatives to support instructional practice, research, and leadership in visual arts education.

Chico State’s Health Services College Bowl Team placed first at the American College of Healthcare Executives’ Western Regional Health Services Administration College Bowl. Chico State competed in the Undergraduate Competition and has captured the title all four years it has been held.
