Awards and Activities

David Stephen, former director of University Housing and Food Service, was recognized by the Association of College and University Housing Officers-International at the organization’s annual conference and exposition held in Denver, CO in July. The ACUHO-I Award is the association’s highest award and bestowed only after a practitioner has retired. Read more here.

The Chico State chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha (the University’s political science honors society) was named as one of the best 16 chapters in the country out of over 800 chapters nationally. This is the second consecutive year the chapter has earned this recognition.
