Publications, Presentations and Exhibits

Anna Harris, Creative Media and Technology, and Kate Post, University Communications, presented on their collaborative partnership and techniques for busting silos at the Higher Ed Web 2019 conference in Milwaukee on Oct. 14 in a session titled, “The Art of Translation: Getting Tech and Marketing on the Same (Web)Page.”

Post also presented the session “Communicating During a Major Crisis: A Case Study of the 2018 Camp Fire” sharing University Communications’ award-winning crisis response tactics to peers from around the world at the Public Relations Society of America’s international conference in San Diego on Oct. 21.

Carol Huston, emerita professor in Chico State’s School of Nursing, penned the book, “The Road to Positive Work Cultures.” The publication offers quick and practical tools that help nurse leaders learn to maintain appropriate boundaries, build effective teams, avoid micromanaging, and reduce workplace stress.
