Publications, Presentations and Exhibits

Matthew Stone, Department of Recreation, Hospitality, and Parks Management, appeared in an article titled “Want to Give Your Kids a Leg Up? Travel With Them” on the website, The Points Guy.

Awards and Activities

Chico State’s student chapter of the American Concrete Institute (ACI) was recognized with a 2018 Excellent University Award for student activities.

Chico State’s Department of Construction Management sent seven teams to the 2019 Associated Schools of Construction (ASC) Student Competition Regions 6 and 7 this month. The commercial team took first place, with faculty coach Alan Bond, the mechanical team took second place, with faculty coach Marie Patterson, and the electrical team took third place, with faculty coach Chris Souder.
