Natalie Hanson and Natalia Villegas presented at 2020 Pi Sigma Alpha National Student Research Conference in Washington, DC.

Georgia Fox, chair of the Department of Anthropology, edited the new book, “An Archaeology and History of a Caribbean Sugar Plantation on Antigua,” a collection of essays exploring Betty’s Hope plantation on the island of Antigua.

Jackson Webster, Department of Civil Engineering, was a featured panel speaker at the annual California Council on Science and Technology meeting in Seattle. As part of the Wildfire Panel titled, “Improved Wildfire Resilience: Leveraging Science and Technology,” Webster’s presentation was titled “Effects of Wildfire on Water Quality and Drinking Water Treatment.”
