Awards and Activities

The Chico State chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha (the University’s political science honor society) was recognized as one of the 16 best chapters in the country out of more than 600 chapters. This is the third consecutive year the chapter has earned this honor.

Ninety-one Chico State student-athletes earned California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors for the 2018–19 academic year, up from last year’s total of 82 students.

Scott Claverie (Computing and Communications Services, Information Resources) was recognized with the CSU Emerging Campus Technology Leader Gold Award. Scott was honored for his leadership within the CSU system around cloud computing.
