Publications, Presentations and Exhibits

James Karman, emeritus professor Departments of English and Comparative Religion and Humanities, presented a paper titled, “Robinson Jeffers and Writers of the American Left: 1925-1940” at the annual conference of the Robinson Jeffers Association. Read more here.

Ann Schulte, School of Education, published an article on Rural Schools Collaborative titled, “California Students Showcase Rural Communities Through Public Murals.” Read more here.

 

Awards and Activities

The Orion, Chico State’s student-run newspaper, was named the state’s best large-school college newspaper by the California College Media Association. The Orion also took home three other first-place awards for best overall newspaper design, best inside page design and best sales promotion details.
